E4 - A NEW CITY

The battle of the cities seems to have shifted from the military to the architectural field. During this period there was an intense dispute to show which was the biggest, the richest and the most imposing. Great works were carried out, monumental buildings, building complexes and mainly temples and churches with an innovative and luxurious architecture.

E5 - I WILL SURVIVE

At the end of Classical Antiquity, the city looked like it was not going to survive so many wars, battles and invasions. Few innovations were made at that time, and it is as if there is a 500-year-old hole in the timeline. After centuries of growth and important inventions, for the first time the city has not evolved as much as it could, but it has survived.

E4 - UMA NOVA CIDADE

A batalha das cidades parece ter mudado do campo militar para o campo arquitetônico. Neste período existia uma disputa intensa para mostrar qual era a maior, a mais rica e a mais imponente. Grandes obras eram executadas, prédios monumentais, complexos de edifícios e principalmente templos e igrejas com uma arquitetura inovadora e luxuosa.

EU SOBREVIVEREI

No final da Antiguidade Clássica, a cidade parecia que não ia sobreviver a tantas guerras, batalhas e invasões. Poucas inovações foram feitas nessa época, e é como se houvesse um buraco de 500 anos na linha do tempo. Após séculos de crescimento e invenções importantes, pela primeira vez a cidade não evoluiu tanto quanto ela poderia, mas ela sobreviveu.
